Roger L. Brown: University of Florida, Bachelor of Science (Major in Finance) 1967; University of Florida, Juris Doctor 1972. Admitted to the Florida Bar in 1972. Roger practices in several areas, with the heaviest concentration in real estate, civil litigation, and corporate matters. The real estate matters included both commercial and residential representation from developer to final home buyer. Anxious to help provide lower interest rates and reduce mortgage costs to residential borrowers, Roger is a member of the AMS network. In many cases this produces significant savings to borrowers over the traditional residential mortgage market. Trial practice emphasizes Construction Industry and contract litigation. Appellate decisions pertaining to appeals for clients are set forth in General Accident Insurance v Kellin, 391 So.2d 305 (Fla. 4th DCA, 1980) and Southwest Florida Production Credit v Schirow, 388 So.2d 338 (Fla.4th DCA, 1980). Roger is a committed man who has been married 30 years and has two children and one grandchild. He has always been active in his church and active in community affairs. He is a diplomat of the Court Practice Institute and a member of the America Bar Association, Florida Bar (Real Property and Probate Section), Florida Trial Lawyers, Broward County Bar Association, a member of the Construction Law subcommittee of the real property section of the Broward County Bar Association and Attorneys Title Insurance Fund. He is a past president of the Oakland Park-Wilton Manors Chamber of Commerce, American Cancer Society, Fort Lauderdale Unit, and Chairman of Deacons of First Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale. |
